I Persuaded in research when I was a 4th-semester undergraduate student. As a hobby, a research paper has been written by me which probably I submitted at the Indian conference and dramatically I had been rejected with 84% plagiarism perhaps.

It was my first horrible research experience. After rejecting from the first conference, I had been excluded research footsteps. One of the most crucial matters is when you will get repudiate no one even your friends won’t be on your side. I had been criticized by some individuals whose explanation was probably I’m not fit for the computer science research. Later, I move into software development besides my academic study. I didn’t understand how I can improve myself! In my first phase, I didn’t get someone to whom I could develop a basic idea about software development or career, furthermore, I have been demotivated by them.

In my academic life, when I was a 7th-semester student, I gained some fundamental concepts about software development and published few android application in play store but I didn’t have satisfied! I participated in BAUET Tech-fair 2018 where I achieved the second place which influenced me to participate in another competition. Later I meet Dr Md. Mostafijur Rahman sir who truly assists me in every unwanted circumstance even hearing about my previous research he encouraged me to move forward even he would have said, whatever you get a failure which is benefits for you because you know already how to fail. I was overwhelmed and begin research again in the middle of the 9th semester. In the beginning, I had to read much literature reviews to know what is research and how to choose a research topic. Consequently, I understand the fundamental of research methodology even right now I’m learning because there is no substitute way of study. Now I have published some research in journal and conference that indexed in Scopus and IEEE Xplore Digital Library and Springer.

Research does not require whether your CGPA or who are you. It depends on whether you are interested in certain things. Nowadays people tend to judge someone without know properly or seeing academic CGPA. Yes, academic CGPA is crucial for higher study but not everyone footsteps are the same. To conclude, The world is moving forward and everyone is out of the traditional place and trying something new. There is nothing contrary to research to keep pace with it the next day as research increases the power of people’s thinking and teaches them to think again.

Some advice for junior or who want to begin research:

  1. Read more and more.
  2. Don’t get demotivated.
  3. Get connected with a person who truly knows pure research.

Let's see the research comparison between India and Bangladesh:

Let’s see how far behind Bangladesh is from the neighbouring country of India from research.

https://www.natureindex.com/country-outputs/bangladesh

The table to the rightwards shows the research outputs for Bangladesh published between 1 December 2018–30 November 2019 which are tracked by the Nature Index where total count 37. Let’s have a look at the research outputs of India.

https://www.natureindex.com/country-outputs/India

The table to the rightwards counts research outputs of India between 1 December 2018–30 November 2019 where clearly seen that total output is 1624. We are far behind from neighbouring country India.

Although there are few research centres in Bangladesh, it is very difficult to start a research career there. As a result, graduate students go abroad for higher education and research career. The government should have enhanced research budget as well as other infrastructure development otherwise everyone has to stay behind!!!
